👀 Preview your event page
Click the preview button in the top right when managing your event.
The preview is the same event page your ticket buyers will see - without them knowing it exists!
Share the preview link with your team
Providing the preview link with your team members gives them an at-a-glance view of your event, where they can offer their thoughts and feedback.
To share the preview event page with your team, simply:
Copy the tokenised URL link that appears after you click Preview.
You can share with team members who have a Humanitix account and those who don't.
Note: If you’d like to have team members or co-hosts provide input into the event creation you can share event access.

🎫 Register a free ticket
To register a test ticket for your event without taking payment, you can:
Create a free ticket type on your event
Click preview in the top right
Select a ticket for yourself and enter your email address in the buyer details
You will receive a confirmation email with digital ticket attached.
Cancel your ticket to restock it and make it available for the next ticket buyer. See our guide here
Note: Any test registrations can be cancelled so they won’t impact your capacities or attendee lists.
🏷️ Create a 100% discount code
Apply a discount code at checkout to register a ticket for yourself without taking payment.
To create and apply a discount code to purchase a free ticket:
Head to promote > discounts on the left-hand menu bar
Click create discount code
Give your code a name, eg: EVENTTESTING
Set the code to a 100 percentage (%) discount
Fill in the remaining required fields
Click Save

Register a ticket using the discount code:
Click the preview/view button in the top right-hand corner while managing the event
Select a ticket for yourself and click enter details
Enter the discount code in the field provided
Enter your email address in the buyer details
Click save and checkout
You’ll receive a confirmation email with your digital ticket attached.
💻 Create a manual order
Register a complimentary ticket without needing to take payment or enter a discount code.
Manual orders can be used to generate complimentary tickets for friends, family, VIP etc. or account for sales that have been made outside of Humanitix e.g. if someone has paid for a ticket using cash or bank transfer ahead of the event.
To process a manual order:
Select your event via the events tab on the top menu bar
Go to orders / refunds > orders
Click + new manual order
Select complimentary as the payment type and click start
Optional: Include a note on the order e.g. “Test”Select a ticket for yourself as if you were a ticket buyer
Enter your email address in the buyer details
Click register
You will receive a confirmation email with your digital ticket attached.
