The event banner is the primary or "hero" image and sits at the top of the event page.
You can add a banner image during the event creation process; however, you can edit or add this later.
How to add an event banner image
Manage your event via the events tab
Head to the event information > details page
You can also navigate to design & comms > styling on the left-hand menu bar
You have two options when adding an event banner image:
A. Upload an image from your device
Click upload an image and select your file from your device storage folders
B. Design on Canva

Specifications and accepted formats
We recommend that event banner images be a minimum of 3200px by 1600px and in a 2:1 ratio.
Images outside of this ratio will be cropped.
Images must be less than 10mb in size
Accepted formats are JPEG, PNG, or SVG. GIF files are accepted by as still images only.

How do I know the specifications or dimensions of my image?
If you're unsure of the specifications of your image, find your file in your device folder and right-click on the image > click properties (PC) or Get Info (MAC)
How can I add more images to my event?
You can only add a single event banner image but you can add more images to your event via the event description. Navigate to event information > details to create or edit your event description. Use the image icon in the action bar to upload more images.
Why is my image being cropped when I try to upload it?
Event banner images must be within a 2:1 ratio. Anything outside of this will be cropped such as a 'portrait' image or flyer or poster.
We recommend using the design on Canva option to help 'resize' your image within the required specifications.
Trying to upload a flyer or poster?
Portrait images like flyers or posters are often unsuitable for an event banner image as they will be heavily cropped to fit within a 'landscape' format.
We recommend inserting your flyer or poster into your event description as an additional image.
