Yes! By default, all public and published Humanitix event pages will natively appear in search engines, such as Google. There is nothing that you, as an event host, need to do to enable this. Search engines like Google will 'index' Humanitix event pages once they are published, and they will soon appear in search results.
Note: It can take 24-72 hours for Google to index event pages and for them to appear in search results. If you have only just published your event page, it may take some time for it to appear in results.
Private and draft events are not indexed by search engines like Google.
You can edit your privacy settings via the event information page while managing your event.
Humanitix and Google events integration
Humanitix has partnered with Google to become a verified ticketing partner, allowing Humanitix event pages to appear and display all event details in Google's events booking module, interactive events carousel, and AI experiences.
There is no additional cost or action required from Humanitix hosts. This is a native benefit to event hosts that allows greater visibility of event pages and makes it easier for ticket buyers to discover verified and legitimate events directly on Google Search.
How it works:
Once you publish your public event, Google will start indexing your event page in their search results
There is no action required from event hosts
Google will display events in relevant searches based on location, search terms and when users are browsing for "Things to do" in their area, or looking at a particular artist's events, for example
Google will determine which events are most relevant to surface to users. This is determined by Google's algorithims and their discretion. This is not controlled by Humanitix.
