Your event is set to private

Private events are not indexed by Google or other search engines, nor will they appear on the Humanitix website. Private events can only be accessed by sharing the event page URL with a buyer.

You can review your event's privacy status via the event information > details page. Ensure your event is set to public if you wish for it to appear in Google searches over time.

Your event was published too recently

It can take time for your event to be indexed on Google or other search engines, and unfortunately, there is no set timeframe. This typically can take anywhere from hours to several days.

We recommend you check again in 1 or 2 days. Humanitix cannot control when Google indexes an event page to appear in their search results.

Tips on improving your event's visibility on Google

Search engines like Google will continue to give priority to pages that gain more views and visits over time, but you can help boost your event's visibility with some of these "best practices"

  • Avoid using link-shortening services like Bitly to share your event page URL

  • Include your Humanitix event page URL on your own or others' websites. This helps Google to identify "backlinks" to your event page, improving its authority and visibility.

  • Ensure your event has a comprehensive event description

  • Customise your "sharing description" with a short and captivating description that entices people to click on your Humanitix Event link
