Any published and "public" event on Humanitix will be "indexed" by search engines such as Google. Humanitix does not control when Google will index these pages in their search results. If a past event or event that was published as "public" before being changed to "private" is still appearing, it means Google has indexed these event pages.
We recommend you set your event's prviacy to private or unpublish the event it to help prevent further traffic to your site.
However, Humanitix cannot remove an event page appearing on Google. You will need to file a request with Google directly.
To request an event page removal from Google's search results:
Navigate to Google’s Remove outdated content page to send your request
Click new request and enter the Humanitix event page URL you want to remove from Google. Click submit.
You can check the status of your request by revisiting the Remove outdated content page. The status of your request will show under Removal requests. If Google didn’t approve your request, click the question mark to see why.
Humanitix does not control when Google will "de-index" an event page to prevent it appearing in search results. This could take several days or weeks.
