What is a public event?
A public event can be searched for and found by anyone on Humanitix.com and search engines e.g. Google.
Public events will also be visible on widgets and host profile pages. You can also notify Host followers of public events.
By default, all events are created as public
What is a private event?
A private event can only be accessed by those with the unique event page URL.
The event will not appear on the Humanitix search page or via an internet search.
Your event URL is found on the overview page.
Private events will be hidden from all widgets or Host profile pages.
How to change your event's privacy
You can set your event's privacy when first drafting your event under the basics page. You can also update this setting at anytime:
Manage your event via the events tab
Navigate to event information
Scroll down the basics page
Select public or private > save & continue
