We've created a brand new design for event overview dashboards, adding powerful new insights, customisable views, and beautiful graphs to track your event's performance over time.
How to enable the new event overview
New event overview designs can be enabled via the Insider Labs page on your account.
If you're not already an Insider, select become an insider, then select enable on the new overview page feature.
Key changes, improvements and new features
The new event overview page is a complete rebuild, bringing new ways to view your event's performance:
NEW Global filter bar
On the old page, filters (event date, sales channel, period) sat in a "Refine overview" dropdown and only changed the Sales widget.
On the new page, a sticky "View by" bar changes every section.
Filters are saved in your page link, so you can bookmark a specific view.
NEW Filter options
Filter your entire overview by specific ticket types, sales channels, reporting groups, event dates, and time periods
These filters apply to the sales total earnings and sales graphs on the event page
NEW metric cards
Earnings (with a breakdown drawer), Insights (page views), Tickets sold, and Check-ins, Waitlist and Resale. The last three only show when they're relevant to the event.
NEW performance overview chart
The old "Historical orders" and "Historical sales" charts are replaced by a single Performance overview chart.
Track how your sales have done over time while filtering for specific ticket types or changing how the pace of sales is displayed
View by: Day (the default), Week, Month or Year. This sets how the chart groups figures over time.
Stacked or Unstacked: Show sales as combined totals or compare sales against each other independently
Incremental or Cumulative: incremental (per period) is the default; cumulative shows a running total.
Show breakdown or Show full graph: adds one line per ticket type in the current View by.
In the breakdown, you can hide or show individual lines, and tickets with no sales are tucked away behind a "with no sales" link you can expand.
NEW tables
Event occurrences, plus overview tables by ticket type, packaged tickets, reporting group or sales channel.
Recurring events now show the most upcoming dates first and allow you to get clearer occurrence-specific breakdowns of tickets sold.
You can also now quickly see the status of ticket types such as "sold out" or "hidden".
