How do buyers update the details of their tickets?
How do buyers update the details of their tickets?
Updated over a week ago

Buyers can update any custom checkout questions you have asked for your event such as names on tickets or dietary requirements using the manage order button on their confirmation email sent to them after their purchase.

Ticket buyers cannot add additional tickets to their existing order. They must make a new purchase if they want to purchase new tickets.

How does a buyer update their details?

Buyers can update the details on their order and individual tickets using the manage order button available on the order confirmation email sent to them after their purchase.

They will need to ensure they are on the update order tab and select edit next to any ticket details they need to update.

Individual ticket holders won't be notified about any changes to the details on their ticket

Prevent your buyers from editing their order

Buyers can edit their orders by default, however you can disable this ability at anytime. This is recommend if you do not want buyers updating their details after a particular time, or making name changes on their tickets.

We recommend disabling the ability to edit orders if you're looking to offer resale for your event or control the name change and even cancellation process.

To turn off order editing for buyers

  1. Manage your event via the events tab

  2. Navigate to advanced > settings on the left-hand menu

  3. Click on the orders tab

  4. Toggle OFF allow orders to be edited
