The earnings figure represents any paid sale you have made minus any refunds, discounts, and Humanitix booking fees. Your earnings figure is inclusive of any tax.
Your earnings will include sales across all channels such as online orders (credit card), manual orders, and box office orders.
The earnings for your event can be seen on the overview page of your event, and on an individual order level via the orders report.
The payout figure is the actual funds or monies that Humanitix has received and is paying out to you. It will therefore not include any manual sales or sales taken via other payment gateways such as Stripe.
Your payout figure is found on the payments and fees > payouts page of your event and on your PDF payout receipt.
There may be several reasons why the earnings figure seen on your overview page does not match the payout figure.
Manual orders are NOT included in your payout
Manual orders are generated by you, the host, typically to create complimentary tickets but they can also account for 'paid' orders that have been paid for outside of Humanitix such as direct payments via cash or bank transfer. These manual sales are added to your earnings figure for your reporting needs.
Since no funds have been transacted via Humanitix there are no funds to be paid out and these amounts will NOT appear in your payout figure.
For example: You sell $1000 in tickets via online (credit card orders). You also create a manual order for $100 in tickets on behalf of an attendee who paid via cash.
Your "earnings" as reported in Humanitix is $1100, but your payout figure will remain $1000.
Use the filter on the earnings report of your overview page to see the total value of manual sales for an event. This may equal the discrepancy.
Navigate to the orders/refund > orders page and use the filter to see a list of all manual orders for that event.

Box office cash payments are NOT included in your payout
Like manual orders, box office cash payments are added to your earnings figure to account for these funds taken outside of Humanitix, but are not included in your payout figure.
Since no funds have been taken by Humanitix, there are no funds to be paid out.
Tap to pay (card) box office payments are included in your payout.
Use the filter on the overview page to see the total value of box office sales
Navigate to the orders/refunds > orders report to see a list of all transaction. Box office cash payments will show the gateway "cash"
Sales through Stripe are NOT included in your payout
The payout figure as shown in Humanitix only represents sales that have occurred through the default Humanitix payment gateway.
If you have connected another payment gateway to receive ticket sales at any point, such as Stripe, these funds are not paid out from Humanitix but are transferred directly into your Stripe account. It is possible to switch gateways at anytime during your event.
Sales made via the Stripe gateway are still included in your Humanitix earnings figure.
You can review the gateway currently connected to your event via the payments and fees > gateways page while managing your event
Log into your Stripe dashboard to track the status of any ticket sales paid through Stripe. Humanitix does not control the payout of funds from your Stripe account.
