If you have reusable themes or consistent organisation branding, you can create a template of your event page styling that can be applied to multiple events.

The event banner image is your primary or "hero" image that appears at the top of your event page.

  1. Manage your event via the events tab

  2. Head to design & comms > styling

  3. Head to the banner heading

  4. Click upload an image to add an image from your device

Use Canva to create your event banner image

Canva is a free-to-use image design and editing website. Sign up with a new account or log in with an existing account.

Use templates, graphics and images available within Canva and/or upload an image to resize and edit.

Note: Designs created using Canva through Humanitix are NOT saved to your Canva account. If you expect to reuse a Canva design we recommend creating this via Canva.com directly. This design will be available for application to your event when you use the Design on Canva option

Event banner images are in a 2:1 (landscape). Any image outside of these dimensions will be cropped. We recommend using Canva to resize your image to fit within the canvas size or create a new image in the appropriate format.

How to style your digital and PDF tickets

Note: You cannot change the layout of the digital ticket for example the placement of the QR code, event information, or any wording.

All buyers are, by default, sent a digital ticket through their order confirmation email. They will also have the option to download and/or print this ticket as a PDF ticket.

Note: A buyer doesn't need to print or download a PDF version of a ticket to access their QR code

While on the design & comms > styling page, select the tickets tab

Add your logo: Your logo will appear at the top left of the digital ticket

Ticket background colour: Match the design of your event page

Add a custom banner: Copy your event page banner image or add a new one

Ticket styling will apply to all ticket types. You cannot set styling for specific ticket types.

How to add a custom message to your ticket

You can include important on-the-day information or FAQs to a customer's digital ticket

  1. Navigate to design & comms > messages on the left-hand menu bar

  2. Select the ticket message tab

  3. Craft your custom message that will appear on the digital ticket

All important event information is already included on the digital ticket including where relevant ticket holder name, ticket type event date and time, seating location

You can also use the messages page to add custom messages to the confirmation page, confirmation email, and add to calendar links for your event.

Note: Custom messages won't appear on a digital ticket that a buyer has added to the Google or Apple Wallet. Due to the high uptake of these tools we recommend you include any important information in additional comms or messages in addition to the ticket message.

Commonly asked questions

Can I remove the QR code from the digital ticket?

No you cannot remove the QR code from the digital ticket. If you do want to use tickets at all for your event, you can turn off the sending of digital tickets entirely. Buyers will still receive a confirmation email, but there will be no digital ticket for them to access.

Navigate to advanced > settings via the left-hand menu bar while managing your event. Toggle OFF send tickets.
