To unpublish an event:
Manage your event via the events tab
Click the unpublish button in the top right
If the unpublish button is disabled
If the unpublished button is "greyed-out" or disabled it means that:
You may have pending tickets. This means someone is trying to buy tickets, so they are reserved temporarily. You'll need to wait for these tickets to expire before you can unpublish the event. The default checkout time is 20 minutes.
OR
The event has valid tickets remaining. You cannot unpublish events that have valid tickets. You'll need to cancel these tickets first to unpublish the event. Check out our guide on cancelling tickets here
You may not need to unpublish the event
If you are postponing or cancelling the event
You should not unpublish the event if you are postponing or cancelling the event. Instead, stop sales to pause future ticket sales immediately:
Select your event via the events tab on the top menu bar
Click the ... button in the top right and select stop sales
If you do not want your event to be listed on the Humanitix website
Find your event and click manage
Navigate to the basic information page
Under the privacy section > select private > click save.
