How to check in your attendees

Manage your event entry by screening valid ticket holders and tracking your attendance using our check-in tools

Checking in attendees is optional but ensures only valid ticket holders come into your event and provide great attendance data for your reporting and marketing needs. Perhaps you’d like to send out a thank you message or survey to only those who attended or reach out to those who didn’t.


📱 Check in guests using the Humanitix scanning app

You can use your device's camera to scan an attendee's QR code issued to them on their ticket, or, manually search their name.

💻 Check-in guests via the attendees report on your browser

If you have a small box office or welcome station with a laptop and/or tablet setup you can use the Humanitix console to manually check-in guests. This is also a great option if you happen to also be updating details, creating orders, and managing other data as you go along.

  1. Log into Humanitix on your computer or tablet

  2. Manage your event via the events tab

  3. Navigate to manage attendees > attendees

  4. Search for your attendees and click check-in

  5. Download this report as a CSV file after your event


✏️ Export a PDF guest list or CSV spreadsheet

Go old-school with the tried-and-tested method. The simple solution for small, intimate and/or private events, and where devices are limited - just note that you will need to account for any recent sales or changes to attendee data after exporting this list.

  1. Open your event via the events tab

  2. Head to manage attendees > attendees

  3. Click 📥 download report > guest list PDF

  4. Bring a pen
