How to submit a refund request through refund protection

If you added refund protection to your Humanitix ticket purchase, you can submit a refund claim with XCover directly. Refund protection is managed by XCover, not the event host or Humanitix.

You'll need to select your refund reason and supply any supporting documentation. If successful, you'll be refunded the full cost of your ticket(s).

Refund protection is not available for all events and must be enabled by the event host.

If you did not purchase refund protection during your ticket purchase, you must request a refund from the event host directly, subject to the event's refund policy.


Create and log in to your XCover account

You'll need to create an account with XCover to start your claim process.

To do this, locate the separate confirmation email from XCover sent to you after your ticket purchase, in addition to your Humanitix order confirmation email.

Use the unique link to activate your XCover account.

Ensure you've checked any junk or spam folders if you cannot locate this email.


Submit a refund claim via XCover

  1. Submit the reason for your refund and any supporting documentation, depending on your claim

  2. Track your claim through your XCover account

  3. XCover should review and respond to your claim within 2-3 business days.

    1. XCover may require more information, so make sure you check your emails regularly (including spam folders).

  4. If your claim is successful, your refund will be processed by XCover to the details entered for your account

  5. If your claim is declined and you want more information, you will need to contact XCover directly. Follow the instructions in your notification email for instructions on requesting a re-examination. XCover encourages you to check the inclusions and exclusions before contacting them.

Refund claims are managed by XCover. The event host or Humanitix cannot influence or help manage any refund claim through XCover.
