What costs are involved in running an event on Humanitix?
On Humanitix you'll find there are:
No subscription fees
No admin fees
No sign up fees
No tiered memberships or plans
Humanitix will only charge a booking fee on paid tickets you sell on your event pages*.
By default, this booking fee is 'passed on' or worn by the ticket buyer meaning you take home 100% of the ticket sale.
Free tickets are free - no fees whatsoever.
So how much does Humanitix cost? For the majority of hosts, it costs absolutely nothing at all to run an event on Humanitix and you'll get access to unlimited ticket types and all our functionality for free no matter if you're running a free or paid event.
Note: The Humanitix booking fee is inclusive of all payment processing fees and taxes when using the default Humanitix payment gateway. Third-party payment processing platforms such as Stripe, Afterpay and ZipPay will incur fees not covered by the Humanitix booking fee.
The Humanitix payment gateway is currently available for USD, AUD, and NZD events.
Events run in currencies such as EUR, CAD, and GBP must connect a Stripe account.

Can I choose to pay the costs of the booking fees?
Yes you can choose to 'absorb' the cost of the booking fee. Buyers will only pay the face value of the ticket and the booking fee will be debited from your sale before the funds are paid out to you.
For example, a $1 fee is charged on a $20 ticket. The buyer pays $20 and you will receive $19.
Commonly asked questions
Can I be invoiced separately for the cost of the Humanitix booking fee?
Humanitix booking fees are calculated and charged at the time of a ticket purchase. They are deducted from your online (credit card) ticket sales before being paid out to you. Due to this automation, Humanitix cannot invoice the cost of the booking fees separately.
