By tagging your event with your performing artist(s), your event will be promoted on the Bandsintown website and all Bandsintown partners such as Spotify, Shazam, Apple Maps, Google, Amazon Alexa, Bing and more!

đ€ How to get your events featured in Bandsintown
To get your events and artists featured in Bandsintown youâll need to tag your artists on your Humanitix event and reach out to the Humanitix team to get your account Bandsintown verified.
Tag your artists
Manage your event
Navigate to Event information > Details
Scroll down to Discoverability
Enter an appropriate event Type and Category e.g. festival and fair > music
âThe âartistâ section will not appear for events that are not deemed music-relatedSearch for the artistâs name in the Artist section. If you have multiple artists at your event, you can tag them all.
Do not tag artists that are represented by tribute acts
Do not tag artists whose music is played at your event, but who are not physically present
Any user found violating these terms will have their approval denied and/or permanently revoked on their Humanitix account
Request your Humanitix account to be Bandinstown verified
Your account will need to be approved by Humanitix for your event artist information to integrate with Bandsintown. You can still tag artists; however, without this approval, your events will not be featured via Bandsintown and their partners.
To get approved, please use messages in chatbot for Bandsintown verification with the Humanitix team - youâll receive a notification when this has been approved.

Will I need to apply for approval for each event?
No, you will not need to seek approval for the Bandsintown integration for each event. Your request will apply to your account and all events created under it. Please notify us if you run events under multiple accounts.
Does the artist require a Bandsintown account?
Yes, each artist requires a (free) Bandsintown Artist account. Within the account, the artist can connect various social media and streaming services for maximum reach.
Why doesn't the artist appear in the dropdown list?
If the artist does not have a Spotify artist profile, they will not appear as a suggestion. You can still manually enter and tag their name - ensuring it is entered exactly the same as their Bandsintown Arsits profile name.
