Create, link, and edit a host profile

Create a host profile to allow your audience and fans to follow your events!

Updated over 3 months ago

Host profiles promote you and your brand or organisation. Link a host profile to your event to let buyers know who is hosting the event while showcasing your brand logo.

Host profiles will show all your public and live events on a single landing page while suggesting your events line up to buyers when they visit one of your events, helping you grow your community and on-sell your events.

How to create a new host profile

  1. Select account > hosts from the top menu bar

  2. Click create host to start a new profile

  3. Enter your name, description, and any website or social media links

💡 Tip: You can create multiple host profiles and link them to only relevant events. This is great if you’re running different event series or events for different organisations or brands

You can also create/link a host profile when first drafting your event under the details stage of the event creation process

How to edit your host profile

To edit your host profile, navigate to account > hosts and click on your existing host profile and use the tabs to continue building and managing your profile:

  1. Details - Edit your Host Name, Host Page URL, Description and Social Media links

  2. Styling - Add your Host profile logo, Host page banner image and colour

  3. Followers - Manage your list of host profile followers

How to link your host profile to your event

You can link a host profile when first drafting an event or return and add it anytime via the same details page:

  1. Select your event via the events tab

  2. Head to event information > details page

  3. Select your host profile from the dropdown

You can only link one host profile per event.

Co-Hosts

If you're managing an event with another host, we would recommend creating a new host profile that combines both of your details.
For example: "ACME & HUMANITIX"

You can then share event access to their account, so both of you have full access and control over the event.

How to promote your host profile

Share your host profile on your event page

Your host profile will appear at the top and bottom of your event page after it has been linked.

This means attendees can get in touch with you via the contact host link or check out your profile and event lineup via the view profile button.

Live events linked to the same host profile will be promoted at the bottom of each event page

Private events will not be promoted on a host profile page or suggested on event pages

Share a direct link to your host profile page

You can view your host profile page by clicking the view button while managing your host profile or copy and share your host page URL.

Commonly asked questions

My event does not appear on my host profile page

There are two reasons an event would not appear on a host profile page:

  1. You have not linked the Host profile to the event page. Navigate to the event information > details page of the event and select the host profile from the dropdown

  2. The event is marked as private. Private events will not appear on a host profile page which are public. Navigate to event information > basics and change your event privacy to public

Can I link two host profiles to the same account?

You can only link one host profile to an event. If you're managing an event with another host, we would recommend creating a new host profile that combines both of your details.
For example: "ACME & HUMANITIX"

You can then share event access to their account, so both of you have full access and control over the event.

Can another user apply a host profile to my event?

Yes, in order for another user who has created a host profile to apply that host to your event you will need to share event access with the other user.

Head to account > permissions to share event access. Once shared, the other user can link their host profile to your event.
