Notify your followers of your new event

You can send an email to all of your host profile followers that you have published a new event. This email contains a "Get Tickets" link taking them straight to the event page, and is a great way to quickly and easily promote your new events to your growing community.

You can only send an email notification that an event has been published once per event


Notify your followers when an event has been published

When publishing a new event, you will be given the option to notify my followers that will send a template email to all followers of the host profile currently linked to that event. This is toggled ON by default.

If you decide to publish later, this email will be sent out at the date/time you publish the event. You can also choose to notify my followers at a later date.

Followers will not be notified when you draft an event, only after it has been published

You can choose to not notify followers when you first publish the event, and manually send out this new event notification at a later time.

Manage your event and click the "..." menu button in the top right.
Select notify your followers.

You can only send an email notification do this once per event.


Commonly asked questions

Can I send an email notification to my followers for an event more than once?

No. You can only notify followers that a new event has been published once per event.

Can I combine multiple events onto a single email notification.

No. Currently email notifications are sent per event and it is not possible to combine multiple events onto a single email. We would recommend using tools such as Mailchimp or other email and newsletter tools to send out a customised promotional email for all events to those buyers who had opted in for marketing.

Why is there no option to select "notify followers" for my event?

The "notify followers" option is available, but it's not always visible by default. Here's how you can find it:

  1. Manage your event

  2. Click the "..." menu button in the top right

  3. Select "notify your followers"

Remember, you can only notify followers once per event. If you've already used this option, it won't be available again for the same event.

If you cannot see this option at all, you may not have connected a host profile to the event! To do this, head to the event information > details page, and choose a host profile using the dropdown select menu in the host profile section.
