Promote your events through Bandsintown

Get more visibility and conversions on your event with our native Bandsintown integration!

Updated this week

Connect your Humanitix event music lovers worldwide who use Bandsintown to discover new artists, follow their favourites, and get tailored suggestions on events happening in their area.

How does the Bandinstown integration work?

By tagging your performing artist(s), your event will be promoted on the artists' Bandinstown profile and the artist profiles of Bandsintown partners, including Spotify, Shazam, Apple Maps, Google and more!

Users will find your ticket link in searches and get notifications when an artist they're following is performing nearby!

  1. Create and publish your event

  2. Tag the artists performing

  3. Your event syncs with Bandsintown. Your Humanitix ticket/event link appears in the artist's Bandsintown profile - and their partners - as an upcoming event

Artists must have an active Bandsintown profile. A profile is not created for them.

How to get your events featured in Bandsintown

To get your events and artists featured in Bandsintown, you’ll need to tag your artists on your Humanitix event and reach out to the Humanitix team to get your account approved for our music integration.

Tag your artists

  1. Manage your event

  2. Navigate to event information

  3. Select an appropriate event type and category, e.g. festival and fair > music

  4. Scroll down to discoverability

  5. Under the artist section, search for the artist’s name. You can tag multiple artists.

Searching for artists

The artist search is powered by Spotify. If an artist does not have a Spotify profile, they will not appear as a suggestion.

You can manually enter and tag their name. Ensure it is spelled and formatted exactly the same as their Bandsintown artist profile.

  • Do not tag artists that are represented by tribute acts

  • Do not tag artists whose music is played at your event, but who are not physically present

Any user found violating these terms will have their approval denied and/or permanently revoked on their Humanitix account

Request your Humanitix account to be Bandinstown verified

Your account will need to be approved by the Humanitix support team for your event artist information to integrate with Bandsintown. You can still tag artists; however, without this approval, your events will not be featured via Bandsintown and their partners.

Click request approval to submit a request to the Humanitix support team. You'll be notified once this has been actioned, typically within the next business day.
