The tip fees option allows your buyers to decide whether they would like to power to support your cause or organisation by covering the Humanitix booking fee.
By default, the booking fee will be absorbed into the ticket price and buyer's can opt-in to add this amount to their order.
How to enable tip fees for an event
Manage your event via the events tab
Navigate to payments and fees > settings on the left-hand menu
Select the booking fees tab and choose tip fees
Enter the percentage (%) of the booking fee you would like to give attendees the option to cover
The booking fee will be automatically absorbed into your ticket price.
Buyers must opt-in to cover the booking fee
How does a buyer choose to pay the fee
During checkout, buyers can opt-in to pay the booking fee before choosing their payment method.
