Offer group, bundle, and tables with packaged tickets

Bundle ticket types together to create value packs / group bookings / family passes for your attendees while managing your event capacity.

Updated over a week ago

Packaged tickets bundle multiple ticket types into a new option for your buyers. You can easily use these to offer group discounts, table bookings or particular bundles.

Packaged tickets appear as another ticket option on the ticket selection page.

When purchasing a packaged ticket, a buyer will be issued all tickets included in that package.

For example, a "Table of 10" package which includes 10 x "General Admission" tickets will issue 10 separate tickets to the buyer

How to create a packaged ticket

Packaged tickets bundle together existing ticket types. You must create your individual ticket type options first via the tickets > ticket types page.

For example, to create a "Family" package which includes 2 x Adult and 2 x Child tickets you must create the Adult and Child ticket types first

To create a packaged ticket:

  1. Navigate to tickets > packaged tickets on the left-hand menu

  2. Click create package

  3. Enter the package name, price, and package capacity

  4. Select the ticket type(s) and the number of tickets included in a package
Multiple ticket types can be combined by pressing + add ticket type

  5. Once a packaged is created you can amend advanced settings via the settings ⚙️

When creating a package available per package refers to how many of that ticket type are in a single package

For example, a "Table of 10" package would include 10 x individual tickets

Package capacity refers to how many of these packages you would like to sell

For example, your event holds 100 people and you want to offer a "2-for-1" deal but you only want 30 tickets sold through this deal. Your package contains 2 x General Admission and your package capacity will therefore be "15".

When buying a packaged ticket, a buyer receives all tickets included in that bundle; if there are not enough single tickets available, the packaged ticket will appear as sold out

If you are collecting unique information on tickets using checkout questions you will also capture individual ticket holder information for each ticket within that bundle

Example: How to offer a "2-for-1" deal

You can use a packaged ticket to bundle together two individual tickets for the price of a single ticket therefore claiming the equivalent of a 100% discount on the second ticket.

  1. Click create package and give it a name

  2. Enter the price as the cost of "1" single ticket

  3. Select your 'single admission' ticket type

  4. Enter "2" in the available per package

A buyer will pay the cost of 1 ticket but receive 2 tickets

Example: How to offer table bookings

To offer table bookings such as Tables of 10, you can use packaged tickets to bundle together '10' of your single ticket options.

When creating your package, select your ticket type and enter '10' into the available per package field.

The package capacity controls how many of these whole-table bookings you want to offer.

Example: How to offer a family Pass

You can use packaged tickets to offer a discounted price for a family of 2 adults and 2 children by bundling two of each ticket type into one ticket option.

  1. Click create package

  2. Select your adult ticket type and the availability per package ('2')

  3. Click + add ticket type and select your child ticket type, enter the availability

Example: How to offer a bundle, multi-event, or season pass

Packaged tickets can offer buyers bundles or season/event passes which include multiple ticket types within a single event page. Create your occurrences or sub-events as individual ticket types and then create a package ticket that includes one of all - or select - occurrences.
