Follow 3 simple steps to integrate your Meta Pixel directly with your Humanitix account and events to track conversions and purchases within your Meta Business account.
Get more robust conversion tracking with Seeka
Check out our Seeka integration, through which you can connect your Meta Pixel. Seeka offers accurate conversion API data, ensuring better data and ultimately a better return on your ad spend.
1. Get your Pixel ID
First, you’ll need the ID of the Pixel you want to install on your event pages. To get this, follow Meta’s Getting Started Guide to create a Pixel and/or copy your Pixel ID (also known as Dataset ID).
When using Meta Events Manager to connect, make sure to select Set up manually > Meta Pixel only as your setup option.
2. Integrate with Humanitix
Once you have a Pixel ID, head back into your Humanitix account, and via the top toolbar, navigate to account → advanced → integrations → default tracking IDs.
Paste in your Pixel ID in the Facebook Pixel field and click save! You’ll also be able to apply your Pixel to all previous events in your account.
Congratulations, your Pixel is now installed on your Humanitix event pages!
3. Confirm your pixel is firing
To confirm proper installation, consider using the Meta Pixel Helper tool, which can detect if the Pixel is successfully firing data.
Note: Ignore any pixels that aren’t yours. Humanitix uses tracking pixels as well, but they won’t interfere with your data.
To allow tracking from Humanitix, you may need to configure your Meta Traffic Permissions settings to allow tracking events sent from Humanitix.
Follow this guide from Meta to add 'humanitix.com' to your allow list. For your convenience, we have extracted the steps below but please double-check on Meta's official website for the most updated instructions:
Go to Events Manager of your Meta account
Click Data Sources in the left menu.
Select your pixel.
Click Settings.
Select Create allow list from the dropdown menu below Traffic permissions.
Enter 'humanitix.com' to add to your list and click Next. Note: If you add a top-level domain to a list, all subdomains are also included. For example, adding "humanitix.com" also adds "events.domain.com". Learn more.
Click Confirm.
