Connect your Meta Pixel

Track conversions and purchases through Meta Pixel within your Humanitix Account

Updated over a week ago

You can integrate your Meta Pixel directly with your Humanitix account and events to track conversions and purchases within your Meta Business account.

Get more robust conversion tracking with Seeka

Check out our Seeka integration, through which you can connect your Meta pixel. Seeka offers accurate conversion API data, ensuring better data and ultimately a better return on your ad spend.

Get your Pixel ID

First, you’ll need the ID of the Pixel you want to install on your event pages. To get this, follow Meta’s Getting Started Guide to create a Pixel and/or copy your Pixel ID (also known as Dataset ID).

When using Meta Events Manager to connect, make sure to select Set up manually > Meta Pixel only as your setup option.

First select Set up manually

Then select Meta Pixel only

Integrate with Humanitix

Once you have a Pixel ID, head back into your Humanitix account, and via the top toolbar, navigate to account → advanced → integrations → default tracking IDs.

Paste in your Pixel ID in the Facebook Pixel field and click save! You’ll also be able to apply your Pixel to all previous events in your account.

Congratulations, your Pixel is now installed on your Humanitix event pages!

What conversion events are sent to my Meta Pixel from Humanitix?

Conversion events are actions people take on the Humanitix website, such as making a purchase or adding an item to their cart.

When you plug in the Meta Pixel to your Humanitix event, Humanitix will send the following conversion events to your Meta Events Manager via the Meta Pixel:

Standard events:

  • Viewed content

  • Initiate checkout

  • Purchase

Custom events:

  • Tickets added

  • Entered details

How to filter different conversion events from different Humanitix event URLs

To filter different conversion events from different URLs, you can create Custom Conversions entirely code-free in your Meta Business Account. For example, this will allow you to track all 'Purchase' events from Event A and all 'Entered details' events from Event B.
