Track sales performance with affiliate tracking links
Updated over 3 months ago

Affiliate tracking links are used to measure ticket sales performance across your marketing channels and see where your customers are coming from, such as your website, your social media channels, or your newsletter.

Affiliate tracking links create tokenised links to your event page; you will share this unique link who your buyers who are directed to your event to purchase tickets as normal but each sale will be tracked in your reporting.

Analytics for your event

You can get live data on your event including page views, sales by day and hour, and key demographics with our native analytics.

Click the reports > analytics tab while managing your event

How to create an affiliate tracking link

  1. Manage your event via the events tab

  2. Navigate to promote > affiliate tracking on the left-hand menu bar

  3. Click create code

  4. Give your link a code name, e.g. for each channel newsletter, Instagram, promoter

  5. Click save

  6. Copy the generated URL and paste it into your marketing channel. This is the link attendees will use to access your event page and register their tickets

How to track your affiliate link purchases

Affiliate links can only track purchases made while using these links. If a buyer has initially used an affiliate tracking link but completed their purchase through a different link e.g. through the Humanitix website, the sale cannot be tracked

  1. Click the reports > select affiliate tracking links tab on the left-hand menu

  2. The console view gives you a quick count of which codes have been used

  3. Download the report using export orders to see a granular breakdown of which orders have been used for each code
