Ticket conditions allow you to 'link' a ticket type or a selection of ticket types with another, whereby the dependent ticket cannot be purchased without the other.
For example, you can't purchase a "Child" ticket without adding an "Adult" to the order.
How to enable ticket conditions for an event
Ticket conditions are currently invite-only.
Contact the Humanitix Support team to enable it for your event(s).
Once enabled for your event, go to the tickets > ticket conditions tab in the left-hand menu.
Select add condition
In the first field, select which ticket type(s) will "unlock" other ticket types.
Enter the number of tickets that the primary ticket unlocks.
Select the ticket(s) that will be unlocked
You can create multiple conditions with different combinations of ticket types.
How conditionality works
Tickets in the second field cannot be purchased without first adding at least one of the tickets in the first field to an order.
The unlocks figure is the ratio of how many conditional tickets can be purchased.
For example, setting a condition that 'ADULT' tickets unlock "1" 'CHILD' tickets means that 'CHILD' tickets cannot be purchased without an 'ADULT' ticket, and you can purchase only "1" 'CHILD' ticket for every 'ADULT' ticket.
A buyer could purchase 2 x 'ADULT' and 2 x 'CHILD' tickets.
Note:
Ticket conditions apply per order. A buyer cannot return in a new order to "add more" conditional tickets to their order without purchasing a qualifying ticket.
Cannot be applied to packaged tickets
Secondary tickets remain visible. If "skip to more tickets" is enabled, all secondary tickets, including conditional ones, are shown regardless of condition status.
How ticket conditions appear for buyers at checkout
Conditional tickets will appear "locked" on the ticket selection page and will become available after a buyer adds any qualifying ticket(s) to their order.
