How to pay a Humanitix invoice with Pay-by-Link

When choosing to pay for a Humanitix ticket using the invoice option you may be issued an invoice which contains a pay now button.

This is a secure payment portal that you can use to process an instant bank-to-bank transfers through Pay-To, a payment platform created in conjunction with all major Australian retail banks.


  1. Click the "pay now" button

    Locate the pay now button on your order confirmation email or attached PDF invoice sent to you after your purchase.

    This will launch the PayTo portal (powered by Volt.io) in a new tab/browser.

2. Enter your details into the PayTo portal

Click continue and enter the PayID email or mobile number, or, BSB and account number of the bank account that you want to make this payment from.

Then click continue.

3. Approve the agreement in your bank app

Log into your banking app and navigate to the agreements page. You should have recieved an SMS, push, or email notification depending on the details you entered.

Select Authorise on the agreement to complete your payment.

Funds will be debited from your account and you'll recieve a notification from your bank.

A new order confirmation email will be sent from Humanitix a few minutes after your payment has been successfully completed including a view tickets button to access your digital tickets.

Locating the PayTo agreement in your bank app

The 'agreements' page may differ in location between banks. Click Can't find your PayTo agreement? to find bank-specific instructions on where to locate this page.
