I want to move my booking to another date or event

Event date transfers can be requetsed by contacting your event host directly.

You can request that all, multiple, or a single event be transferred from your account (email address) to another. This option is recommended if you need to change your email address, or, you need to give ownership of these events to another user, teammate, or colleague.

No event data is lost during an account transfer.

How to request an account or event transfer

Account or event transfers must be actioned by contacting the Humanitix support team. Transfers are completed within 1 business day, and all event data will remain intact. Events can be transferred both before and after they are published. This allows flexibility for the new account holder to adjust settings or continue managing ongoing ticket sales uninterrupted.

  1. Create your new account by signing up with your new email
    ​(You will need to log out of your existing account.)

  2. Locate the Peach bubble chat button in the bottom-right corner

  3. Use the messenger to send a message to the Humanitix support team while logged into the existing/original account

  4. Navigate to messages > send a message > ask a question, and type "request an account transfer"

For privacy and security reasons, account transfers must be requested from the original account email address.

You can also submit an account transfer request by emailing [email protected]. Please ensure you have created the new account before getting in touch.

Which email address to use for your account?

To improve future transfers, consider using a generic email address (e.g., [email protected]) as the primary account, rather than a personal email address. This can help streamline handovers in your organisation.

​Tip: Use a password manager to create and store secure passwords for your organisation, making it easy to generate a new password when an employee leaves.


What data is transferred?

When transferring a single event, the following is transferred:

  • All event data for that event, including sales and attendee information

When transferring an account (all events), the following is transferred:

  • All events created by this account

  • All host profiles created by this account

  • Email campaigns

  • Styling, checkout question, and ticket type templates

  • Tours

  • Gift cards

  • Global discount codes

  • Event access permissions that have been shared from your account to other accounts

  • Bank accounts


What data is not transferred?

The following is NOT transferred:

Post-Transfer considerations

After an account transfer has been completed, we recommend you review the following:

  1. Any permissions that need to be re-shared to or from the new account (account > permissions)

  2. Any fee structures and bank accounts as applied to the events

  3. Any default account settings

All event data, including buyer and attendee data and sales, are unaffected by an account transfer.
